How to make the Funnel Drill worthwhile.

A couple practices ago we were working on funneling grounders into the top of our belly.  We used a drill that doesn’t take much space AND anyone can do at home with a tennis ball and a wall.

I made a quick video for my players to watch as a reminder before doing this drill at home:

Bottom line, when you field a grounder between the top of the hop and the long end of the hop, catch it out in front and funnel it in. Short hops are a different story, perhaps another day.
